SwadSathiRestaurant OS

Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026. This policy covers the SwadSathi website and the SwadSathi restaurant management system operated by ConnectGo Infoware.

1. Who we are

SwadSathi is a product of ConnectGo Infoware, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. For any question about this policy, write to support@connectgoinfoware.com.

2. What this website collects

This site has no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. It sets no cookies of its own.

The only personal data the site receives is what you type into the demo request form: your name, restaurant name, mobile number, optional email, city, and whatever you write in the message box. That form composes an email in your own email application — the site itself does not store a copy on any server.

The site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore makes a request to Google's servers, which receives your IP address. If you would rather that did not happen, the fonts can be self-hosted on request.

3. What we do with demo enquiries

We use your details to arrange and follow up the demo, and to quote for setup if you ask. We do not sell, rent or share them, and we do not add you to a marketing list. Ask us to delete an enquiry and we will.

4. Data inside the restaurant system

If you become a customer, the SwadSathi system holds your restaurant's own operating data — staff accounts, orders, bills, stock, and any customer names or mobile numbers your staff record against an order.

  • That data belongs to your restaurant, not to us. We process it only to run the service you are paying for.
  • We access it only when you ask us to — for support, a fix, or a migration.
  • We do not use your operating data to train anything, sell anything, or build a mailing list.
  • You can export it at any time. On request we provide a full database dump.
  • If you stop the subscription, the data is retained for a reasonable handover period and then deleted on your written instruction.

Guest details entered by your staff are your restaurant's records. You are the controller of that data; you are responsible for telling your guests how you use it.

5. The waiter mobile app

The Android waiter app collects the staff member's name and account ID, and the orders, tables and payments they record. It requests one permission — internet access. It has no ads, no analytics SDK and no tracking SDK, and it never asks for location, contacts, camera, storage or any payment credential. All traffic to the server is over HTTPS.

6. Payments

Where online payment collection is enabled, card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay under their own terms and privacy policy. SwadSathi records only how an order was paid — cash, QR or split — as part of your sales record. We never see or store a card number or bank credential.

7. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access is behind role-based logins with server-side permission checks, writes are CSRF-protected, and significant changes are recorded in an audit log attributed to the user who made them. Optional IP restriction can limit access to your own premises. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to support@connectgoinfoware.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, for customers, tell you directly.
