Terms of service
Last updated: 18 August 2026. These terms govern use of the SwadSathi restaurant management system supplied by ConnectGo Infoware, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
1. The service
SwadSathi is a subscription service. It comprises the web application, the Android waiter application, the desktop printing helper, and the support and setup work agreed with you. You are licensed to use it for your own restaurant business for as long as your subscription is current. The software itself is not sold to you.
2. Accounts and staff
You create and control the staff accounts on your system, and you are responsible for who holds them and what they do. Keep credentials confidential, remove accounts when staff leave, and tell us promptly if you think an account has been misused.
3. Your data
Your operating data remains yours. We process it only to provide the service. You may export it at any time, and we will supply a full database dump on request. See the privacy policy for detail.
4. Fees
Subscription fees are billed in advance for the period agreed, and setup work is quoted separately. Prices exclude GST. We will give reasonable notice before changing the subscription rate. Payment gateway charges, where you enable online collection, are billed to you directly by the gateway.
5. What you must not do
- Resell, sublicense or rebrand the service without our written agreement
- Copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software
- Use it to store data unrelated to your restaurant operation
- Attempt to access another customer's data or bypass access controls
- Use it for anything unlawful
6. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The system needs a working internet connection at your premises; outages of your own connection, power, hardware or printers are outside our control. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside normal service hours where possible.
7. Compliance is yours
SwadSathi applies the tax rates, discount rules and bill formats you configure. Making sure those settings are correct for your business — GST registration, rates, invoice requirements, statutory record-keeping — is your responsibility, not ours. We will help you set them up; we cannot be your tax adviser.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business.
9. Ending the agreement
Either side may end the subscription with reasonable notice before the next billing period. We may suspend the service for non-payment or for a breach of clause 5, after telling you. On termination we retain your data for a handover period and then delete it on your written instruction.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
